Mobile e-bike repair is available throughout Orange County, including Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Fullerton, Tustin, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Laguna Beach, and the rest of OC. We do not currently send mobile mechanics outside Orange County, but bikes purchased from us are still delivered statewide.

What is Replace Your Ride?

Replace Your Ride is a South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) program that gives qualifying Southern California residents up to $12,000 toward a new e-bike, helmet, assembly, and door delivery — at zero out-of-pocket cost. Eligibility is limited to LA, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino county residents who own a registered vehicle model year 2010 or older, have held the title at least 12 months, and have household income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level. The bike must be UL 2849 safety certified and purchased through a participating retailer like 3KtoGO.

Do your e-bikes come fully assembled?

Yes. Every bike we deliver is fully assembled by our professional team in Costa Mesa before it leaves our facility — we don't ship a box for you to figure out. When we arrive at your door, the bike is ride-ready: handlebars aligned, brakes adjusted, tires inflated, and the battery charged. We also walk you through a 20-minute hands-on tutorial covering throttle, pedal assist, gear shifting, charging, and basic maintenance, so you feel confident from day one.

What's included in a Replace Your Ride bundle?

The SCAQMD voucher covers all of it up to the $12,000 cap, so qualifying participants typically pay nothing out-of-pocket. Bundles can also include accessories like racks, baskets, lights, or locks if they fit within the voucher amount.

For deliveries outside Orange County but within California, standard e-bike delivery starts at $150, and cargo or oversized bikes start at $300. Final pricing depends on bike size, weight, and distance. Replace Your Ride participants get delivery covered by the voucher (a $250 value) regardless of location. We carry RAD Power Bikes, Cyberbike, and HAOQI as our core in-stock lineup, with selection across folding, commuter, cargo, fat tire, lightweight, and off-road models. We're actively diversifying into Lectric, Velotric, Ride1Up, and Blix — call us for current availability. All bikes we sell are UL 2849 safety certified, which is the same certification required for Replace Your Ride voucher eligibility, so anything in our shop is voucher-compatible. Specific model availability changes; the live shop page reflects current inventory.

We offer pre-built voucher-eligible bundles (e-bike + helmet + assembly + delivery + tutorial) from RAD Power Bikes, Cyberbike, and HAOQI — every model in our shop meets the program's UL 2849 certification requirement. You select your bundle, and we handle the voucher paperwork, the assembly, the door delivery, and the riding tutorial. No out-of-pocket cost for qualifying participants.

Do you offer repair services?

Yes. We offer mobile e-bike repair anywhere in Orange County — our mechanic comes to your home, office, or wherever your bike is. The service fee starts at $75 and covers on-site diagnostics plus basic repairs (brake adjustments, tire replacement, drivetrain tuning, controller checks, cable swaps). If a job needs deeper work, the fee covers free pickup and return to our secure Costa Mesa repair facility. Parts and additional labor are quoted separately before any work begins, so there are no surprises. We do not service or open lithium-ion batteries.

Statewide California deliveries typically take 3-7 business days. Replace Your Ride orders may take longer (typically 4-8 weeks total) because they're bottlenecked by SCAQMD application processing, not by us.

If your bike needs more complex work, that $75 also covers free pickup to our secure Costa Mesa facility and return delivery once the work is done. Parts and additional labor are quoted separately and approved by you before any work begins. Standard tune-ups typically run $75-$150 depending on scope.

Yes. RAD Power Bikes are one of the most common brands we service, including the RadRunner (1, 2, 3 Plus), RadRover (5, 6 Plus), RadWagon (4, 5), RadCity (3, 4, 5 Plus), RadMission, and RadExpand. Common RAD jobs we handle: brake pad and rotor replacement, throttle and PAS sensor diagnostics, controller swaps, motor cutoff issues, drivetrain service, tire and tube replacement, and full tune-ups. Our mechanics are mobile across Orange County and bring most common RAD parts on the truck, so many fixes happen in a single visit.

What is included in an e-bike tune-up?

Our standard mobile e-bike tune-up includes a full brake inspection and pad/cable adjustment, tire pressure and tread check, chain and drivetrain cleaning and lubrication, derailleur and shifting alignment, full bolt and headset tightening, battery and electrical connection inspection, motor function check, and a confirmation test ride. Tune-ups happen on-site at your location anywhere in Orange County. Pricing typically runs $75-$150 depending on scope and whether parts (cables, pads, chain) need replacement — we quote any parts before installing them.

Whether you need a full tune-up, brake repair, drivetrain service, tire replacement, motor diagnostics, or controller troubleshooting, our mobile repair team comes to you anywhere in Orange County. We bring common parts on the truck for the brands we see most often. The one thing we don't service is lithium-ion batteries — that's a safety boundary we hold firm.

Do you fix or replace e-bike batteries?

3KtoGO does not service, repair, open, or install e-bike batteries. Lithium-ion battery work carries fire and personal-injury liability that we won't take on, both for your safety and ours. We do, however, sell replacement batteries as a product — if you need a new battery for your RAD, HAOQI, Cyberbike, Aventon, or other major-brand e-bike, contact us at 760.333.0207 and we can help you source a compatible replacement. You install it yourself or have the manufacturer's authorized service center handle the swap.

How does the Replace Your Ride voucher process work?

The Replace Your Ride process has four phases. First, check your eligibility on the SCAQMD website — you need to live in LA, Orange, Riverside, or San Bernardino County, own a 2010-or-older vehicle for at least 12 months, and have household income at or below 300% of the federal poverty line. Second, apply online and get assigned a case manager who reviews your documents. Third, once approved, you receive a Purchase Authorization Letter for up to $12,000. Fourth, choose a 3KtoGO bundle — we handle assembly, white-glove delivery, the tutorial, and all voucher paperwork. Most participants ride home within 4-8 weeks of application.
