Question 1

What area do you serve?

Accepted Answer

3KtoGO serves Orange County from our base in Costa Mesa. Mobile e-bike repair covers Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Fullerton, Tustin, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Laguna Beach, and the rest of OC, and new bikes are delivered free within Orange County. If you live elsewhere in California, we can still deliver your new bike for a flat $250; mobile repair stays in Orange County.

Question 2

Do your e-bikes come fully assembled?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every bike we deliver is fully assembled by our professional team in Costa Mesa before it leaves our facility. We don't ship a box for you to figure out. When we arrive at your door, the bike is ride-ready: handlebars aligned, brakes adjusted, tires inflated, and the battery charged. We also walk you through a 20-minute hands-on tutorial covering throttle, pedal assist, gear shifting, charging, and basic maintenance, so you feel confident from day one.

Question 3

How much does delivery cost?

Accepted Answer

Delivery is free for any e-bike purchase within Orange County. Elsewhere in California, delivery is a flat $250 per order. Call 760.333.0207 with questions about long-distance or multi-bike orders.

Question 4

What brands do you carry?

Accepted Answer

We carry RAD Power Bikes, Macfox, and Himiway as our core in-stock lineup, with selection across folding, commuter, cargo, fat tire, lightweight, and off-road models, plus genuine Rad Power accessories. We're actively diversifying into Lectric, Velotric, Ride1Up, and Blix, so call us for current availability. All bikes we sell are UL 2849 safety certified. Specific model availability changes; the live shop page reflects current inventory.

Question 5

Do you offer repair services?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer mobile e-bike repair anywhere in Orange County. Our mechanic comes to your home, office, or wherever your bike is. The mobile convenience fee starts at $95 and includes a quick visual diagnostic of overall e-bike health plus basic adjustments: tire inflation, drivetrain lubrication, cable brake adjustment, and safety bolt tightening. If a deeper diagnostic is needed, that is $55. Parts, replacements, and additional labor are quoted separately and approved by you before any work begins, so there are no surprises. If a job needs shop work, the fee covers free pickup and return to our secure Costa Mesa repair facility. We do not service or open lithium-ion batteries.

Question 6

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

Delivery timelines depend on your location and current order volume, but most Orange County deliveries happen within 1-3 business days of order confirmation. Deliveries elsewhere in California typically take 3-7 business days. We'll provide an estimated delivery window when you order, and you'll get a text or call notification when our driver is 3 kilometers away, which is where our name comes from.

Question 7

How much does e-bike repair cost in Orange County?

Accepted Answer

Our mobile convenience fee starts at $95 in Orange County, which covers the on-site visit, a quick visual diagnostic of overall e-bike health, and basic adjustments: tire inflation, drivetrain lubrication, cable brake adjustment, and safety bolt tightening. The fee is based on distance from our Costa Mesa base: $95 nearby, $110 for the middle ring of Orange County, and $125 for the farthest areas like South County and the canyons. A deeper diagnostic, when needed, is $55. If your bike needs more complex work, the fee also covers free pickup to our secure Costa Mesa facility and return delivery once the work is done. Parts, replacements, and additional labor are quoted separately and approved by you before any work begins. A Minor Tune-Up is $99.99 and a Major Tune-Up is $199.99; the full repair price menu is on our services page.

Question 8

Can you repair RAD Power Bikes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. RAD Power Bikes are one of the most common brands we service, including the RadRunner (1, 2, 3 Plus), RadRover (5, 6 Plus), RadWagon (4, 5), RadCity (3, 4, 5 Plus), RadMission, and RadExpand. Common RAD jobs we handle: brake pad and rotor replacement, throttle and PAS sensor diagnostics, controller swaps, motor cutoff issues, drivetrain service, tire and tube replacement, and full tune-ups. Our mechanics are mobile across Orange County and bring most common RAD parts on the truck, so many fixes happen in a single visit.

Question 9

Do you offer same-day e-bike repair?

Accepted Answer

We do our best to accommodate same-day mobile repair within Orange County, especially for time-sensitive issues like a brake failure or a flat that's stranding you. For same-day requests, call 760.333.0207 to check the current day's route availability. For everything else, book online at 3ktogo.com/book: enter your address for exact pricing and request a service window, and we typically schedule within a few business days, often the next-available route to your area.

Question 10

What is included in an e-bike tune-up?

Accepted Answer

We offer two tune-ups, both done at your location in our Orange County service area. The Minor Tune-Up covers brake adjustment, shift adjustment, a basic cleaning, tire inflation and a basic safety ride. The Major Tune-Up adds parts installation, an advanced bike detail, a drivetrain degrease and brake pad replacement. A Minor Tune-Up is $99.99 and a Major Tune-Up is $199.99. We quote any parts (cables, pads, chain) before installing them.

Question 11

Do you deliver outside Orange County?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Orange County is home, and delivery here is free with purchase. Elsewhere in California, we deliver your new bike for a flat $250. Mobile repair stays in Orange County.

Question 12

What e-bike brands do you service and repair?

Accepted Answer

We service most major e-bike brands, including RAD Power Bikes, Lectric (XP series), Velotric, Ride1Up, Blix, Aventon, Pedego, Specialized Turbo, and most other major manufacturers. Whether you need a full tune-up, brake repair, drivetrain service, tire replacement, motor diagnostics, or controller troubleshooting, our mobile repair team comes to you anywhere in Orange County. We bring common parts on the truck for the brands we see most often. The one thing we don't service is lithium-ion batteries, a safety boundary we hold firm.

Question 13

Do you fix or replace e-bike batteries?

Accepted Answer

3KtoGO does not service, repair, open, or install e-bike batteries. Lithium-ion battery work carries fire and personal-injury liability that we won't take on, both for your safety and ours. We do, however, sell replacement batteries as a product. If you need a new battery for your RAD, Aventon, or other major-brand e-bike, contact us at 760.333.0207 and we can help you source a compatible replacement. You install it yourself or have the manufacturer's authorized service center handle the swap.
